1. Purpose of the Site

This Site is provided to share information about our church community, ministry events, and beliefs, and to allow visitors to submit contact forms, event registrations, prayer requests, and online tithes/donations. This Site does not feature user profiles, account creations, or password-protected user portals.

When you fill out any form on our Site (including Event Registrations, Contact Forms, or Prayer Requests), you agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, and current information about yourself.
  • Not impersonate any individual or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Ensure that you have obtained the necessary parental or guardian consent if you are registering a minor for a church event.

3. Conduct and Use Restrictions

You agree to use our Site and forms exclusively for lawful, community-focused purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using our web forms to submit defamatory, offensive, harassing, profane, or malicious text.
  • Attempting to bypass our Next.js security features, reverse-engineer our form endpoints, or inject malicious code into our MongoDB database.
  • Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to flood our web forms or email routing systems with spam.

4. Online Contributions and Financial Transactions

By utilizing our online giving features, you acknowledge that:

  • All tithes, offerings, and donations are given voluntarily to support the church's ministries and operational expenses.
  • Donations are processed through secure, third-party payment gateways. You agree to abide by the terms and service conditions of the designated payment provider.
  • All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.
  • As donations are voluntary contributions, they are generally non-refundable once successfully processed.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, logos, church graphics, code, and multimedia layouts, is the intellectual property of International Missionary Society, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Reform South African Union and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. You may view and download material for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we do our best to maintain our custom Next.js environment, we do not guarantee that the website will be entirely error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, International Missionary Society, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Reform South African Union, its leadership, pastoral staff, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this website, its form submission tools, or its online transaction features.
